LOCATION

Located a couple of minutes from Ubud, Bali’s cultural capital, the villa benefit from a perfect geographic situation to discover the cultural and artistic history of the island. Ubud is a remarkable town in the middle of the island of Bali, north of Denpasar and situated on Bali’s scenic hillsides. For more than a century, it has been the island's preeminent centre for fine arts, dance and music. Ubud is the best place to use as a base if you're visiting Bali looking for culture, comfort, nature and inspiration. Ubud is surrounded by most of the things that bring people to Bali: scenic rice fields, small villages, arts and crafts communities, ancient temples, palaces, rivers, excellent shopping and fine dining. And its central location makes it easy to get from Ubud to the mountains, beaches, and major towns. The villa is located a 50 minutes drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport and 10 minutes by car from Monkey Forest and Ubud City Centers, shopping, dining and cultural spots. Luwak Villas’s restaurant known as "Luwak Cafe" serves Indonesian, European and Chinese food.

LIVING AREAS AND ACCOMODATION

Featuring a traditional Balinese-style with thatched roof and wooden interiors, the charming rooms are all fitted with fine beddings and furnishings. They all have a private terrace, a large bathroom and a living room.

They are homely and well equipped with a safety deposit box, a flat-screen TV complete with a DVD player, and tea/coffee making facilities. All villas have a private pool, dining area and a well-equipped kitchen.

Designed by Manguning Architecture, the swimming pool takes its inspiration from classical Balinese architecture, with two pavilions opening onto a courtyard garden complete with a pool deck set with softly upholstered sun loungers.

The villa design is unmistakably contemporary and perfectly complemented by traditional elements. Living pavilions have an airy, spacious feel with their high-pitched ceilings and cool slated floors set with low-slung lounges. Local artworks subtly capture the spirit of Ubud. The generously proportioned master bedrooms are dominated by four-poster canopy beds and feature en-suite bathrooms with luxurious bath tubs and vanities, while second bedrooms feature kings sized beds with indoor and outdoor showers.
